“In the embrace of unconditional love, we awaken our true selves; as we cultivate compassion within, we become vessels of warmth and kindness, radiating light that nourishes the hearts around us.”
Rose quartz is a gentle stone in the quartz family. Its colour typically ranges from pale pink to rosy red – arising from traces of titanium, iron, or manganese within its structure. Rose quartz is a go-to gemstone in jewelry and décor, especially for those seeking a warm, soothing aesthetic.
Rose quartz’s delicate color and transparency make it popular in various types of jewelry. This gemstone complements silver and rose gold settings, adding a romantic, feminine touch. Its subtle elegance suits a wide range of styles, from minimalist to boho-chic, making it versatile for everyday wear or special occasions. Rose quartz is especially popular for bead jewelry for earrings, bracelets, and pendants.
Throughout history, rose quartz has been the “Stone of Love.” Ancient Egyptians used it for facial masks, believing it would promote beauty and youthfulness. In Greek and Roman mythology, rose quartz was a symbol of love and reconciliation, created by the blood of the lovers Adonis and Aphrodite. Rose Quartz associates with emotional healing, compassion, and relationships, making it a favored stone for promoting self-love and harmony.
Rose quartz is typically mined from pegmatite deposits and is abundantly found in Brazil, Madagascar, India, and South Africa. It scores a 7 on the Mohs hardness scale, making it a resilient choice for jewelry. After mining, the stone undergoes a cutting and polishing process to enhance its natural shine and color. Craftsmen and jewelers shape rose quartz into beads, cabochons, and carvings for decorative use. Beyond its use in jewelry, rose quartz has a longstanding reputation in metaphysical practices for its emotional benefits, often used in meditation or as a healing stone.

Cleaning: Gently wipe the beads and metal components with a soft, dry cloth. If needed, lightly dampen the cloth with water, but avoid soaking the earrings. Use a soft toothbrush for cleaning hard-to-reach areas. Avoid harsh chemicals or cleaning solutions.
Storage: Store earrings in a dry, cool place, ideally in a fabric-lined jewelry box or pouch to protect them from dust and scratches. When not in use, keep earrings separate from other jewelry to prevent abrasions. Avoid storing in damp or humid environments.
Metal Care: The black-coated hypoallergenic copper ear wires, darkened pins, and zinc alloy components may gradually tarnish with time. Clean these parts gently using a jewelry cloth designed for metals. Avoid using abrasive cloths or cleaning agents that could damage the finish. To minimize tarnishing, store your earrings in a dry, airtight container when not in use.
Stone Care: Each semi-precious stone and bead (such as tiger’s eye, onyx, jasper, and others) can be sensitive to extreme temperatures or moisture. Keep earrings away from perfume, lotions, and harsh chemicals. Use a soft cloth to wipe the beads clean and avoid abrasive materials that could scratch or dull the surface of the stones.
Durability: While the materials are generally sturdy, avoid wearing earrings in situations where they could be subjected to excessive pressure, such as sleeping, exercising, or heavy impacts. Regular wear should be fine, but always handle the earrings with care to maintain their beauty and longevity.
6 & 10mm beads, in some cases the size of the stone beads may vary +-1mm. Hook lengths range between 1cm basic hooks, 1.5+cm English Locks, 2cm silver hooks – refer to the product photos. In newer designs, the stainless steel spacer daisies, bead caps and small beads contribute 3-4mm extra length (refer to product photo) In principle I keep the weight below 5 grams per earring, so it doesn’t stretch or hurt your ears even if you wear it the whole day. Occasionally, for some designs, that weight limit exceeds by a gram – every pair has their specific weight marked under the overview tab. Note that some earring hooks have thicker wires, and if you are not used to wearing earrings daily, using them will feel uncomfortable in the beginning. Oathfeed Classic Design
