“In the pulse of the Earth’s essence, the spirit finds its boundless harmony.”
Each earring weighs 2.8g and measures 11*44mm
Designed and crafted by Silvi Simberg x as part of the Stellar Stainless 2025 Collection;
From the Stellar Stainless 2025 collection emerges a rare gem—handmade by Silvi Simberg, this one-of-a-kind pair of Maw-Sit-Sit drop earrings radiates the vibrant energy of the Earth. The 6mm and 10mm Maw-Sit-Sit beads present a refined quality with an opaque, medium to light green hue and a glossy finish, featuring lighter feldspar-like spots and tiny black specks, yet lacking the iconic dark veining of more patterned varieties, embodying grounding, vitality, and emotional harmony. PVD-plated 18k stainless steel hypoallergenic hooks, daisies, and bottom bead caps frame their natural elegance, while 18k finish iron bead caps rest between, adding a subtle golden contrast. Weighing a light 2.8 grams each and measuring 10*44mm, they dangle with a timeless grace that feels both ancient and eternal.
Each bead pulses with the essence of the Earth’s heartbeat, a gnostic spark of balance and renewal. Perfect for the seeker craving grounding, the collector seeking rare beauty, or the style maven desiring a touch of natural sophistication, these earrings transcend eras—fit for a guardian of old or a dreamer of the future. Wear them to feel the steady rhythm of vitality and harmony; gift them to a soul who seeks the infinite within. Only one pair exists—this treasure doesn’t just adorn, it grounds.
Maw-Sit-Sit is a vibrant green metamorphic rock composed of a mix of minerals, including jadeite, kosmochlor, albite, and chromite. Its striking emerald and forest-green shades, often interwoven with black veining or white streaks, give it a unique, dynamic appearance. The material forms under intense geological pressure in serpentinite deposits, particularly in Myanmar (Burma), its sole known source.
Although sometimes called “Maw-Sit-Sit Jasper,” it is not a true jasper but a close cousin of jadeite, prized for its rarity and exotic beauty. Artisans skillfully carve and polish Maw-Sit-Sit into cabochons and beads, revealing its glossy surface and intricate patterns.
The name “Maw-Sit-Sit” comes from the village in Myanmar near its primary deposit, emphasizing its geographical exclusivity. It is occasionally labeled as a type of jade due to its mineral composition, though its texture and patterns distinguish it.
Maw-Sit-Sit shares its lineage with:
Jadeite: Its closest relative, known for its smooth texture and rich colors.
Nephrite Jade: Another member of the jade family, typically softer and less varied in color.
Its chromite inclusions and kosmochlor content lend Maw-Sit-Sit its vibrant green tones, setting it apart from other jades.
Maw-Sit-Sit has been revered for its energizing and life-affirming properties. Burmese traditions view it as a talisman of vitality, believed to bring luck and strength to those who wear it. It has been associated with renewal and connection to nature, its vivid green evoking fertile landscapes and verdant growth.
In metaphysical circles, Maw-Sit-Sit aligns with the heart chakra, inspiring courage, love, and emotional healing. It is said to help balance energy flows, promoting harmony between the physical and emotional realms.
