The Work at Oathfeed Studios
Design
By drawing inspiration from the romantic idea of pirates, the vast mystery of space & the beauty of chemistry, Oathfeed producers create outstanding designs with natural beads (semi-precious gemstones), manmade beads (glass, ceramic, laboratory materials), various jewellery-grade metals and string. o.
Production & Sourcing
The production and design both take place at our cosy Oathfeed Studio by Silvi and Priit Simberg. I source the materials from various local and global legal vendors and manufacturers who deal beads & jewellery findings – I now consider myself a collector. If you have any custom requests, write to me and let’s see if I have the stones to do it 🙂
Material Knowledge
When speaking of Birthstones and Zodiac Stones – or occasionally the validity and other properties of various gemstones – for research we mostly refer to materials gathered from Walter Schumann’s “Gemstones of the World” (5th Edition). When dealing with a newer type of stone that wasn’t mentioned in the book or had not enough information, we refer to gemrockauctions.com.
