Koi Fish Symbolism

Miners uncover apatite in deposits across Brazil, Madagascar, Mexico, and Russia, where its bright, tropical shades stand out. Artisans cut and polish rough apatite into smooth beads or faceted gems, transforming raw minerals into dazzling jewelry that captures the spirit of natural brilliance.
Etymology
The name “apatite” comes from the Greek word apate, meaning “deceit” or “trickery,” because of its resemblance to more valuable gemstones. While it might play tricks on the eye, its beauty and energy are undeniably genuine.
Apatite belongs to the phosphate mineral group, connecting it to stones like:
Hydroxyapatite: Known for its biological importance, especially in medical fields.
Its rich colors and translucent glow set gem-quality apatite apart from its utilitarian relatives.

Each earring weighs 5,0 grams (0,18 ounce) and measures 33*91*13mm (1.3*3.6*0.51 inch);
Koi Serenity 2025 Design
6 & 10mm beads, in some cases the size of the stone beads may vary +-1mm (e.g. my Prehnites are a tad larger, the freshwater pearls aren’t perfect round).
Shvenzy English Lock Lyre Hooks are about 10mm in the front. With the spacers and chain links the beaded part of the earring is around 45mm long.
The machine cut metal koi charm size is roughly 50x30mm. The total length of a Koi Serenity earring averages around 90mm.
Weight Priciples
The weight for the Koi Serenity earrings is 4.5grams per average – which is still light enough for most people to tolerate wearing it throughout the day.
A few in the set exceed my 5 grams principle. If that is a concern, please refer to the product description, where precise weights are noted.
