  • Cleaning: Gently wipe the beads and metal components with a soft, dry cloth. If needed, lightly dampen the cloth with water, but avoid soaking the earrings. Use a soft toothbrush for cleaning hard-to-reach areas. Avoid harsh chemicals or cleaning solutions.
  • Storage: Store earrings in a dry, cool place, ideally in a fabric-lined jewelry box or pouch to protect them from dust and scratches. When not in use, keep earrings separate from other jewelry to prevent abrasions. Avoid storing in damp or humid environments.
  • Metal Care: The black-coated hypoallergenic copper ear wires, darkened pins, and zinc alloy components may gradually tarnish with time. Clean these parts gently using a jewelry cloth designed for metals. Avoid using abrasive cloths or cleaning agents that could damage the finish. To minimize tarnishing, store your earrings in a dry, airtight container when not in use.
  • Stone Care: Each semi-precious stone and bead (such as tiger’s eye, onyx, jasper, and others) can be sensitive to extreme temperatures or moisture. Keep earrings away from perfume, lotions, and harsh chemicals. Use a soft cloth to wipe the beads clean and avoid abrasive materials that could scratch or dull the surface of the stones.
  • Durability: While the materials are generally sturdy, avoid wearing earrings in situations where they could be subjected to excessive pressure, such as sleeping, exercising, or heavy impacts. Regular wear should be fine, but always handle the earrings with care to maintain their beauty and longevity.

Oathfeed Classic Two-Bead Design

6 & 10mm beads, in some cases the size of the stone beads may vary +-1mm.

Hook lengths range between 1cm basic hooks, 1.5+cm English Locks, 2cm silver hooks – refer to the product photos.

On Earrings’ Weight Principles

In principle I keep the weight below 5 grams per earring, so it doesn’t stretch or hurt your ears even if you wear it the whole day. Occasionally, for some designs, that weight limit exceeds by a gram – every pair has their specific weight marked under the general description or “dimensions” tab.

Tiger’s Eye – The Stone of Courage

Tiger’s Eye, with its mesmerizing, chatoyant bands of gold, brown, and black, is a variety of quartz known for its eye-like appearance. This gemstone is primarily found in South Africa, with significant deposits also in Australia, India, and the USA.

Etymology

The name “Tiger’s Eye” reflects its resemblance to the eye of a tiger, capturing the wild and vibrant spirit of the animal. It’s also known as: Cat’s Eye for its chatoyancy, though this term is more commonly used for other minerals with similar optical effects, Tiger Eye, Hawk’s Eye when referring to the blue variety, Tigrite.

Cosmic Junction

Tiger’s Eye resonates with the solar plexus chakra, symbolizing courage, strength, and personal power.

Ancient Egyptian Culture: Used in the eyes of funerary statues to ensure protection in the afterlife, symbolizing all-seeing wisdom and protection.

Roman Lore: Roman soldiers wore Tiger’s Eye for protection in battle, believing it could ward off curses and bring victory.

Modern Metaphysical Practices: It’s used to boost confidence, harness inner strength, and provide clarity in decision-making. Tiger’s Eye is also thought to balance yin and yang energies, promoting harmony and balance in one’s life.
