Yao
“My power rules the heavens!” (Pistis Sophia)
Yao (Iao, Baal, Hadad) is a seven-headed snake faced Jupiter archon of Lordship, Judgement, Pride and Anger. He governs material desires, enforcing control through illusion. As one of the Seven Powers, he implements corrupt laws that keeps mankind imprisoned. His beast-faced, hermaphroditic form symbolizes chaotic dominance.
The Perfect Bureaucrat God or God of Bureaucrats.
Pistis Sophia (Valentinian, 3rd century) details his cosmic authority. Yao’s narrative urges light-bearers to reject ego-driven passions, embracing authentic truth and good faith to transcend his prideful traps and ascend to divine clarity.
When Sabaoth revolts and confronts Yao on Jupiter, Yao and his armies abandon the planet to warn Yaldabaoth of what’s coming.
