One of the first other EESO members Eysin manages to establish a relationship with. After taking her to a few parties to meet more people. Denea takes Eysin running to prepare her for trying to enter the Gladiator guild.

Some time in the book an old friend returns to Denea and a doubtful Eysin vacates the room they were sharing, for Asya.

Denea seems to have an intimate relationship with Daegan.

During the Titan Implosion after the Terratorium Tournament semi-finals, Denea loses a hand.
